摘要:
城镇化与行政区划之间存在密切关联，也得到不同领域学者长期、广泛的关注。不过，现有研究更多为实证研究或政策研究，较少围绕相关问题展开深入、科学的理论探讨。为此，提出了城镇化中的行政区划理论问题分析框架，认为城镇化过程中行政区划的幅员、层级和边界问题值得深入讨论，且相关讨论应该放在对城镇化进程与行政区划设置和调整之间相互作用的大背景下展开。进一步指出了限制当前展开规律性和理论性研究的客观因素，并基于现有的中心地、领域和尺度等地理学经典概念，针对部分问题给出了可以参考的理论视角和研究建议。
Abstract:
Urbanization and administrative division are closely linked and have attracted much scholarly attention. While the existing studies are mainly based on empirical analysis of specific cases or aiming to resolve certain practical problems, few have systematically examined the theoretical questions related to administrative division in urbanization. Accordingly, this paper tries to propose a framework for future theoretical studies. It is argued that the issues related to the size, level and border of administrative division in urbanization are important and studies should be contextualized in the interactions between urbanization processes and the establishment and adjustment of administrative division in general. We also point some factors which limits the depth of theoretical thinking and pursuit of laws and suggest some useful angles to unveil the mechanisms of linkages between urbanization and administrative division based on some classic geographical theories such as central place, territory and scale.
