Abstract:
In the new era, a system of historic and cultural protection and inheritance covering the whole urban and rural area and all elements needs to be constructed. It’s also necessary to deepen the digital governance in the preservation of historic and cultural cities and establish the digital application scenarios of baseline protection. The above-mentioned are all crucial components for enhancing the digital governance capacity of natural resources. In this article, four levels of digital governance approaches for the historic and cultural city protection are reviewed. Furthermore, a ’’Regulation-Organization-Technology" driven digital governance logic is proposed. This method is anticipated to be utilized in determining the implementation path, establishing the coordination mechanism, and empowering effective implementation for historic and cultural city protection. Furthermore, this study is expected to provide some ideas of intelligent management in historic and cultural city protection, such as multi-dimensional fine protection, multi granularity monitoring and evaluation, and various applications.
