工业遗产作为城市工业化进程的历史见证,厘清其时空分布格局及其成因,是实现科学保护与合理再利用的前提。重庆作为西南地区重要的工业城市,其工业遗产类型丰富,反映了近代以来国家战略与区域发展的深刻演变。以重庆市153处工业遗产为研究对象,基于GIS空间分析方法,探讨其时空分布特征、影响因素及再利用现状。结果表明:(1)重庆工业遗产形成历程可划分为4个阶段,呈现出“两次高峰,阶段跃迁”的演进格局。(2)工业遗产空间分布总体呈现出主城核心区密度高,具有“核心集聚—多点扩散—边缘稀疏”特征,产业类型以重工业、军工业为主。(3)自然与基础设施因素是影响其空间分布的基础条件,近代战争后,国家战略与政策在关键历史节点驱动遗产聚集与布局调整,呈现出自然禀赋与制度导向双重驱动的复合机制。(4)再利用现状显示,重庆部分遗产已实现文化、旅游、艺术等多元化活化路径,但整体再利用率偏低,存在功能单一、保护不均、价值认知不足等问题。基于此,提出激活存量资源、融入法定规划、强化价值传承、推动公众共治4个维度的策略建议,意在为后续开展西部地区工业遗产保护与可持续利用研究奠定基础。
Abstract:
As historical witnesses to the process of urban industrialization, industrial heritage sites require a clear understanding of their spatial and temporal distribution patterns and formative mechanisms, which serves as a fundamental prerequisite for their scientific conservation and sustainable reuse. As a major industrial city in Southwest China, Chongqing possesses a diverse range of industrial heritage types that reflect the profound evolution of national strategies and regional development since modern times. This study takes 153 identified industrial heritage sites across Chongqing as the research objects and employs GIS-based spatial analysis to explore their spatiotemporal distribution characteristics, influencing factors, and current reuse status. The findings are as follows. (1) The development of Chongqing’s industrial heritage can be categorized into four distinct stages, showing an evolutionary pattern characterized by "two peaks and staged transitions"; (2) The spatial distribution demonstrates a high-density clustering in the core urban areas, exhibiting a "core concentration-multi-point diffusion-peripheral sparsity" structure, with heavy industry and military-related facilities dominating the typology; (3) Natural conditions and infrastructure form the foundational constraints shaping the spatial distribution, while key historical events such as wars, national strategies, and policy interventions act as institutional drivers at critical moments, reflecting a compound mechanism of dual influences from physical geography and institutional orientation; (4) Although some sites have undergone adaptive reuse toward cultural, tourism, and artistic functions, the overall reuse rate remains low, with challenges including single-function reuse, uneven levels of protection, and insufficient value recognition. Accordingly, this paper proposes strategic suggestions from four dimensions: activating existing resources, integrating with statutory planning, strengthening value inheritance, and promoting public co-governance. The aim is to provide a foundational reference for advancing the conservation and sustainable utilization of industrial heritage in Chongqing and the broader western region of China.
