摘要:: 住区公共空间是老年人和儿童进行日常活动的重要场所。随着人口结构的改变，社会结构逐渐从熟人社会转向陌生人社会，同时住区承载的老年人和儿童数量增多，探究老幼人群的户外活动特征，营造代际互动场景，提升老年人与儿童的生活品质与幸福指数是住区公共空间优化的必要方向。以苏州市阳光城小区为例，使用行为观察与行为注记法对老年人和儿童的户外活动行为数据进行采集；通过问卷调研和描述性统计，从心理和行为两方面总结老幼群体的主要活动特征，构建适老适幼的空间评价体系，对住区的典型样本空间进行评估；最后提出6项符合老年人和儿童需求的小微空间优化策略，为住区营造老幼友好公共活动空间提供科学依据。

Abstract:: Residential public spaces are crucial venues for daily activities of the elderly and children. With demographic shifts, the social structure is transitioning from an acquaintance society to a stranger society, while the population of the elderly and children in residential areas continues to grow with the need of exploring the outdoor activity patterns of these two age groups, fostering intergenerational interaction scenarios, and enhancing the quality of life and well-being index for both the elderly and children constitute essential directions for optimizing residential public spaces.Taking Sunshine City Community in Suzhou as a case study, this research employs behavioral observation and behavior mapping methods to collect data on outdoor activities of the elderly and children. Through questionnaire surveys and descriptive statistics, the study summarizes the key activity characteristics of these groups from both psychological and behavioral perspectives, constructs an age-friendly and child-friendly spatial evaluation system, and assesses typical sample spaces within the community. Finally, six small-scale space optimization strategies aligned with the needs of the elderly and children are proposed, providing a scientific basis for creating elderly-and-child-friendly public activity spaces in residential neighborhoods
